Blue Fern Studios - Love Story Collection

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share with you all my very 1st project I created using the new Love Story Paper Collection for Blue Fern Studios.

Here is the new collection again...simply gorgeous!

This is what I created....

"Forever"

Oh my heart aches when I see this photo...we had some professional photos done with Luca was born (which is nearly 17 months ago) and I am only just scrapping my first one! Oh we were so so happy when this was captured...our hearts were overflowing with love.

I went with the softer side of using this paper range adding my own touches of pink and yellow with a burst of teal.

Products Used:
Love Story - The Grand Ball
Love Story - Calling Cards
Forever Stamp
Love Story: Stamp 1
Love Story: Stamp 2
Bohemien Flowers Chipboard
Eclectic Hearts

See you next time :)

Blue Fern Studios February Projects

Hello there everyone :)

Just want to share with you all my February projects for Blue Fern Studios.

I can't get enough of the Ombre Dreams paper range...such beautiful colours. I have created this layout using Julianna's Dream as well as Dream Cards in my layers.

"Adore"

Kind of had a little fun with this layout.  I used some chipboard from the Chunky Heart Panel which I just cut out bits that I needed, covered them with gesso and then added some crackle paint over the top. Using some of the negative hearts from the panel piece, I added them in random places and sprinkled them with glass beads for a cool effect.

I have also used the word "Adore" for my title from the Adore, Love Cherish pack and a Romantic Page Dangle.

Paper: Ombre Dreams Collection: Julianna's & Dream Cards
Chipboard: Romantic Page Dangle, Chunky Heart Panel, Adore, Electic Heart

My next project is a personal project, something just for me.
I have used papers from the Montage Collection: Invitation and Calling Cards.

"Noted"

I have used a few various pieces of chipboard on this layout.  I have used the Turkish Bits chipboard on the background, the Swirly Doodle layered next to my photo and an Arrow word "Noted" .  In among my flower cluster you will also notice a piece from the nested circle set. All have been primed with gesso first and then lots of different inks and mists to alter them.

Paper: Montage Collection: Invitation & Calling Cards
Chipboard: Swirly Doodle, Nested Circles, Arrow Word, Turkish Bits

Happy Scrapping :)

Flying Unicorn KOM Projects

Hi all and happy Friday :)))

Hope you all have had a great week! I am quickly popping by to share with you a couple of recent layouts I created using the gorgeous February Flying Unicorn Kit.

Oh to be transported back to this time...I sooooo miss the newborn smell and endless cuddles..that time went way too quick!!!

Gorgeous Prima mulberry Mica Flakes in the kit and I just loved spritzing more Shimmerz over the top to define them.

Lots of beautiful flowers and butterflies in this kit which I LOVE :))

Now for something a little more boyish...Gorgeous Shimmerz products in this kit in Tickle me Turquoise and Oh Say Can You Sea.

Some Pearl wire which I twirled around a skewer, used a Kaiser triangle chippie (from the kit) and added my flower cluster at the end to form an arrow.

Till next time....
Have a beautiful weekend!

Blue Fern Studios February Sketch

Hi my crafty friends :)

Just popping by with my DT project for the Blue Fern Studios February Sketch created by our sketch designer, Michele Singh.  Since this is known as the month of LOVE, Michele has created a romantic sketch for you to work with, complete with a heart.  Of course your project doesn't need to be love-themed --- you can interpret our sketch any way you'd like.

And my interpretation of the sketch using the gorgeous papers from the Ombre and Montage Collections as well as lots of fun chipboard.

A fun layout for a fun photo :) I have used lots of gorgeous chipboard which all have been Gessoed first and then I have used a combination of Distress Inks, Shimmerz Paints and Glimmer Glaze to highlight the shapes...

Chipboard pieces include circles from the Nested Circle set, Mini Ring Things set and a piece from the Romantic Page Dangle set.

I have also used a heart with a cute flower from the Electic Hearts set.

Head on over to the BFS blog for more details on how to enter and prize details as well as the amazing creations from the other Design Team members.

Thanks for checking in..
Till next time
